Summer Youth Study

  • When: July 6, 2016, 6 p.m.    Where: Fellowship Hall

This summer we will be taking a short break from our typical Wednesday night youth group gatherings. In place of those regular gatherings, Stephen Adams will be offering and leading a 6-week youth oriented study covering subjects related to teenagers and how they biblically think through prevalent personal and cultural issues such as personal discipline, sexual purity, and social media. The dates of this summer youth study will be on Wednesdays at 6:00 pm from July 6 – August 10. The study will be using portions of the book Preparing Your Teens for College by Alex Chediak, which will need to be purchased by the participant. Other relevant resources will be recommended or provided as the study takes place. Please note that youth group will not meet on June 22nd or June 29th.

Youth and Family Ice Skating

  • When: July 9, 2016, 5:30 p.m.    Where: RDV Ice Den

The whole family is invited to the RDV Ice Den for a private skate time. The cost is $10 per person with a $50 family limit. Arrive by 5:00 to be ready to skate from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. Food concessions are available but are not included in the cost listed above.

Vacation Bible School

  • When: July 11, 2016, 9 a.m.    Where: Saint Andrew's

This year's Vacation Bible School for ages 3-11 is titled "Olympion" and will include singing, Bible lessons, Scripture memory, crafts, and games! We will meet Monday through Friday, July 11-15th, from 9:00 – 11:30 a.m. A closing program for parents and friends will be held Friday at 11:30 a.m.

Blood Drive

  • When: July 14, 2016, 8 a.m.    Where: Saint Andrew's Chapel

OneBlood's bus will park near the sanctuary to accept donations of whole blood from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. Donations of double red cells or plasma may also be accepted, depending upon equipment availability. Walk-ins are welcome, but you may make an appointment by following the link below. Anniversary Dinner

  • When: July 16, 2016, 5:30 p.m.   

Join us for a special dinner in the fellowship hall celebrating Saint Andrew's 19th anniversary. This catered dinner will include tenderloin, mashed potatoes, roasted balsamic vegetable blend, salad, rolls, and German chocolate cake. The cost is $10 per adult, $5 for children ages 3-9, and children 2 and under are free. We are not able to accept registration online for this event. Please use the envelopes found in the attendance registers and narthex to register with cash or check by Sunday, July 10th.

Summer Music Camp

  • When: July 18, 2016, 8:30 a.m.    Where: Saint Andrew's

Music camp students, grades K-5th,  will sing in choir, play Orff instruments (percussion) and get hands-on experience with their choice of elective: hand chimes, recorder, or guitar. More information can be found at www.saintandrewsconservatory.org .
