Supported Ministries

International

Missionary Victor Cruz – Victor started planting churches in Mexico more than ten years ago and is now, along with his wife, Teresa, and two children, planting a church in the Condesa/Roma area of Mexico City.

Missionary Steffen Mueller – Steffen grew up in Southern Germany, served as a pastor in North Carolina, is ordained in the Presbyterian Church in America, and now has moved back to Germany with his wife and two children to plant churches in Munich, Germany.

Missionaries O. Palmer and Joanna Robertson – Palmer and Joanna serve African Bible Colleges in Liberia, Malawi & Uganda. Palmer is the Professor of Systematic Theology at the college in Uganda.

Frontline Fellowship – Peter Hammond – Peter has served with In Touch Missions International for more than 25 years. They work for Reformation in Africa, producing & distributing Bibles and Christian literature; training pastors, teachers, medics, chaplains, & evangelists.

The Rafiki Foundation – Rafiki helps Africa's orphaned and vulnerable children become godly contributors to their countries by providing Training Villages with living and educational facilities for up to 200 children, medical care, vocational training for teenagers, and an Exchange for handcrafted items of African art.

Saint Andrew's Bible Drive – Each year the congregation of Saint Andrew’s raises funds to purchase new Reformation Study Bibles to be sent to churches, schools, and other ministries all over the world. The Bibles are then distributed to pastors, missionaries, professors, and bible college students who have limited access to commentaries and theological resources. 


National

Cherokee Youth Mission Trip – Youth, families, and friends host Vacation Bible School and visit Tsali Manor Senior Citizens Center to share the love of Jesus with the Cherokee people.

Full Pardon Ministries – Chaplain John Casto – This ministry provides Christian counseling and discipleship training to the incarcerated at Craggy Correctional Center in Asheville, NC, and Tomoka Correctional Institution in Daytona Beach.

Serve International – Dr. Archie Parrish founded this ministry to help believers pray with a kingdom focus. The training curriculum produced by Dr. Parrish is used in Saint Andrew’s Kingdom Focused Prayer ministry.


Local

Ascension Presbyterian Church – a covenantal and confessional Reformed Presbyterian church plant pastored by Dr. R.C. Sproul, Jr. This congregation is meeting at the United Methodist Church of Apopka at 5pm on Sunday evenings. 

Atria at Lake Forest – Atria at Lake Forest is a senior living community in Sanford that offers care and companionship to its residents. Volunteers from Saint Andrew’s minister to the residents through Scripture reading, teaching, singing hymns, and fellowship.

John Barros – John works with Presbyterian Evangelistic Fellowship as he ministers to men, women, and unborn children through sidewalk counseling, preaching, and evangelism at the largest abortion clinic in Orlando.  He also serves as a volunteer chaplain with Good News Jail and Prison Ministries.

Chapel Quilters – Elaine Haley – A group of ladies from Saint Andrew’s meets regularly to use their gifts by making quilts for those in need.  Past recipients include: Cherokee children, Ukrainian widows, Rafiki, and the Sanford Crisis Pregnancy Center.  

Christian Help – Dick Wilson – The mission goal of this organization is to meet people at their point of economic need and to continue to work with them until their situation improves.  This includes prayer, job counseling, assistance in resumes, referrals and job search, and direct support.  

Jobs Partnership of Florida – This ministry partners with churches, businesses, and community organizations around Orlando to provide job-skills training and mentoring to men and women in need. Participants go through a 12-week training program to learn biblical principles regarding stewardship, work ethic, and vocation. Members from Saint Andrew’s regularly volunteer as job counselors and mentors to serve those enrolled in the program.

Orlando Union Rescue Mission – OURM is one of Central Florida’s oldest and largest homeless service providers. They provide food, clothing and shelter to men, women, and children. OURM’s programs include Bible studies and chapel services and a discipleship work program designed to lead the homeless to independence and self-sufficiency. Members of Saint Andrew’s regularly travel to downtown Orlando to serve food and show the love of Christ to the homeless.

Preserve Life & Provide Care Ministry – seeks to further the ministry of Saint Andrew’s by preserving life & providing care for those in need through various means. The PLPC ministry advocates for life by encouraging God’s people to defend and speak up for those who cannot speak or defend themselves—namely babies who are being killed through abortion. This ministry also helps provide for the physical and spiritual needs of moms and dads who are considering abortion or may have already had one.

Rescue Outreach Mission – The Outreach Mission of Sanford serves disadvantaged people in Seminole County by providing resources that help prevent homelessness and by helping those who are already homeless return to self-sufficiency.

Saint Andrew’s Deacons’ Fund – This fund is a benevolence to Saint Andrew’s members and the community at large in times of need.

Saints Supporting the Troops – Beth McDade – Members of Saint Andrew’s donate toiletries, food, and other items for deployed members of the Armed Forces.  Care packages are sent monthly.

Sanford Christian Sharing Center – Nancy Nolt – This organization serves people in need in the Sanford area, providing food and financial assistance with housing and utilities.

Sanford Crisis Pregnancy Center – Andrea Krazeise – The goal of this Christian organization is to offer women alternatives to abortion by modeling the love of Jesus Christ through compassionate lay counseling and the resources to empower them to make life-affirming decisions.
